W. Hope Bald has decades of experience in programming, accounting, and tax software. Known for being a trouble shooter for poor performing projects/teas, she brings deep expertise in finance, strategy, business process improvement, governance, and community engagement to the board of TheClusterfix.

Hope Bald brings a combination of financial, technology, and veteran experience to TheClusterfix. A Certified Public Accountant with decades of experience programming accounting and tax software, Hope also holds the CITP designation from the AICPA — recognizing expertise at the intersection of accounting and information technology — and the CISA credential, reflecting advanced proficiency in information systems auditing, control, and security. As a Professional Scrum Master, Hope brings structured agile project management methodology to the organization's technological development. Hope has been on the boards of several non-profit organizations for years.

As president of the TheClusterfix Board of Directors, Hope contributes expertise in strategic planning, financial management, information systems development, and accounting controls. Hope is a U.S. veteran with direct, lived experience of the complexity that TheClusterfix is designed to solve — and a deeply personal commitment to transforming a burdensome process into a clear, manageable, and dignified experience for every veteran family.

Hope is expected to graduate early next year with a doctorate in management, specializing in organizational leadership. She has a master’s degree in business administration.

Beyond professional commitments, Hope is actively involved in community leadership with the Slidell Elks Lodge and Scouting America, serving as a scout leader for over 20 years. She enjoys reading, RVing, and puzzles, which reflect her belief in solving problems to benefit veterans.
